reconnected and i am so happy to have her in my life.

this was taken the week of the balloon fiesta in their backyard...b.e.a UTIFUL!

...otherwise that would take much more time than you have. i have been doing shoots, just have not had the opportunity to post them. it's not it takes a long time to post, it would have editing taken time away from my other patient clients. while i am hardly caught up, i thought i'd at least try and post a few while my editing brain is on a mini hiatus.

this beautiful wedding was in july and i think i bit off more than i could chew! nevertheless, i was able to capture some beautiful moments and am very thankful these newlyweds trusted me on their big day.

this was a surprise photoshoot for their mom, the last time they will be together for a while: one is in rome, one is off at nmmi (new mexico military institute) and one might join the navy.

it's hard to believe that as young as i am (ah-hem) that i have a friend who has been a friend for over 20 years! AND she's been married for 13...yow! she's like a real adult. i LOVE this family. everyone from baby m all the way to pampo and nana. this family made me work like crazy and it was worth every minute!

i had the greatest time hanging out with these guys. we spent practically the entire day together, traveling all over the city, dodging cars and crazy people. i've attached just a few photos and am still working on some of my favorites along with the individual photos (i shot over 1,000 images, so it's taking me some time!).
missing stateside is an amazing band who plays everything from aerosmith to ccr to steve miller band. they've opened for ted nugent, joan jett and other rock icons. be on the watch for these guys...they are smokin'!

these are the world's best neighbors. we pulled up the moving truck, started unloading and literally 30 seconds later, steve started unloading us and juliet came in to help tape newspaper on our windows. if there is anything you need, this family has it. you need chicharrones? got it. the best banana nut muffins in the world? got it. posole in september? you bet!

i was invited to share the first day of kindergarten with this amazing family...they just get cooler and cooler! this little angel is going to a school where, at the 8th grade graduation, they will be expected to be fluent in english, spanish and mandarin...the top three international business languages. is that cool, or is that cool? i sometimes find it hard enough to just talk good english.

talk about a beautiful family.

they invited me to an amazing underworld adventure luau. this little bathing beauty is the center of their world. the amount of love this family has for her is unyielding.

ok, so if you don't know these people by now, i don't know where ya'll have been! i really wish they weren't so good looking or so in love because it made choosing what photos to use so hard! i took over 900 pictures at their wedding and wanted to work on everyone of them. I totally love this couple and wish everyone would be as happy as they are.

this is my most favorite couple in the entire world. they embody yin and yang. unity in duality. complementary. you can't have one without the other. they are a human phenomena. and while they look like they have only been married for 40 days, they have actually been married for 40 YEARS (well, in january it'll be 40). they are my absolute heroes.
